About Pitchbase: AI-Powered Sales Training

We build the voice training partner sales teams are missing: realistic simulations, instant feedback, and measurable progress, without relying solely on managers' availability.

Our mission

Sales training is still too often passive: slides, webinars, PDFs. Teams listen, then forget as soon as they hang up the phone.

Roleplays with a manager remain the gold standard, but they don't scale: few time slots, high mental load, and feedback that can be subjective or incomplete.

Pitchbase exists to bridge that gap: making daily practice possible, standardized, and measurable, with AI prospects that react like real ones, and structured feedback right after the call.

Our story

Pitchbase was born in 2026 from a personal need: learning sales without a manager, without a training budget, without burning real prospect calls. The only way to get better when you work solo is to repeat realistic conversations with structured feedback.

Research on adult learning shows that roughly 87% of what is covered in traditional training is forgotten within 30 days without repeated practice.

We believe that practice beats theory: speaking out loud, managing stress, rephrasing, handling objections, all of this is trained like a sport, not like a lecture.

The founder

Briac Roudaut, 24, is the solo founder and developer of Pitchbase. A graduate of the Master in Finance & Strategy at Sciences Po Paris, he started out as a freelance web developer before realizing he had no serious way to learn sales when working alone.

So he built Pitchbase for his own use: a tool that simulates realistic prospect calls, gives structured feedback, and lets you practice on demand. The product quickly proved useful well beyond his personal case, especially for solo sellers, B2B teams and new SDRs with no dedicated coach.

Briac codes, designs and writes all of Pitchbase. He publicly documents the technical choices (Deepgram for STT, GPT 4.1 mini for reasoning, Cartesia Sonic 3 for TTS) and the evaluation methodology used in every comparison on the blog.

Editorial expertise

All our content (blog articles, comparisons, glossary) is written in house by the Pitchbase team. We do not publish AI generated content without human review or sponsored articles. Every tool comparison is based on hands on testing, documented in our methodology page.

Our main sources: academic research on adult learning (Ebbinghaus, Kirkpatrick), industry publications (Gartner, Forrester, HubSpot Sales Trends), classic B2B sales literature (Neil Rackham SPIN Selling, MEDDIC method, BANT IBM), and our own anonymized usage data. We always cite our sources and correct reported errors within 72 hours.
